NEW DELHI: Meta has announced the appointment of Arun Srinivas as its new Managing Director and Head for India, effective July 1, 2025. This leadership change comes as Sandhya Devanathan assumes an expanded role overseeing both India and Southeast Asia.
Srinivas, who currently leads Meta’s Ads Business in India, will now be responsible for driving the company’s overall strategy, operations, and growth in one of its most important markets. His focus will be on aligning business priorities, fostering innovation, and deepening engagement with key stakeholders including brands, advertisers, developers, and partners.
“India is a critical growth market, and Arun’s leadership will be instrumental as we continue to expand,” said Devanathan, Vice President for India and Southeast Asia at Meta. “He brings deep experience and a strong record of building successful teams and partnerships.”
With nearly three decades of experience across leading organizations such as Hindustan Unilever, Reebok, OLA, and WestBridge Capital, Srinivas joined Meta in 2020 and has since played a key role in strengthening relationships with major advertisers and agencies across the country.
In his new role, he will report directly to Devanathan and will lead the charge in reinforcing Meta’s long-term commitment to India.
“We’re confident that Arun’s leadership will help accelerate our efforts and support the next phase of growth in the market,” the company said in a statement.
Meta continues to see strong momentum in India across platforms such as WhatsApp and Reels, and Srinivas is expected to further strengthen the company’s position and drive deeper impact in the region.
