Emphasising the youth’s pivotal role in national development, he said, “When youth become stakeholders in a country’s progress, rapid growth follows. Today, India’s youth are showcasing their immense potential.” The Prime Minister highlighted Government initiatives like Skill India, Startup India, and Digital India, noting that these platforms have fostered innovation, self-employment, and technological leadership. He cited India’s achievements in digital transformation through platforms like UPI, ONDC, and GeM, attributing their success to the youth.

PM Modi also spoke about the Manufacturing Mission, announced in the 2025-26 Union Budget, which aims to boost the ‘Make in India’ campaign and empower young entrepreneurs to produce globally competitive products. He pointed to record growth in sectors such as automobiles, footwear, and Khadi and cottage industries, with Khadi’s turnover surpassing Rs 1.7 lakh crore.

Highlighting infrastructure development, he noted the rapid growth in inland waterways: “Cargo transported through waterways has risen from 18 million tonnes in 2014 to 145 million tonnes today, and the number of national waterways has expanded from just 5 to over 110, covering nearly 5,000 km.”

Praising the increasing participation of women in nation-building, the Prime Minister cited the latest UPSC results, where women secured the top two ranks. “The success of our youth today is notable for its inclusivity,” he remarked.

PM Modi encouraged the youth to join the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ initiative, planting a tree in honour of their mothers as a tribute to nature and nurture. Concluding his address, he said, “Together, we will build a Bharat that is both ‘Viksit’ (developed) and ‘Samriddh’ (prosperous).”
