Gautam Adani’s Spiritual Journey at the Mahakumbh: A Testament to Faith and Service

New Delhi, January 25 : Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, recently visited the sacred Mahakumbh in Prayagraj with his family, immersing himself in the spiritual grandeur of the event. Sharing his reflections on X (formerly Twitter), Adani expressed his deep sense of gratitude and devotion for being part of the divine occasion.

“We are blessed to have the opportunity to serve millions of devotees on the divine occasion of the Maha Kumbh,” he wrote. “Service is a practice, service is a prayer, and service is God. May the blessings of Mother Ganga remain with us all.”

Adani’s heartfelt words resonated across social media, drawing admiration for his spiritual focus and dedication to serving society. Former Pakistani cricketer Danish Kaneria lauded Adani’s commitment to Sanatan Dharma, stating on X: “This is exactly why forces around the world are working relentlessly to bring this man down. He’s dedicating his wealth and resources to serving Sanatan Dharma, not pandering to any ‘ecosystem.’ As someone from a Gujarati Hindu family, I take immense pride in having you as part of our community.”

A video shared by Adani further highlighted the scale and meticulous planning behind the Maha Kumbh Mela, showcasing fascinating statistics that underline its grandeur:
• 144 years: The Maha Kumbh is held in Prayagraj once every 144 years.
• 10 Lost and Found Centers: Helping visitors recover misplaced items.
• 100 feet: The length of the Tricolour displayed during the grand procession.
• Rs 1,000: The affordable cost of staying in a Mela Dharamshala.
• 10,000 garbage bins: Used to manage daily waste collection.
• 1 lakh visitors served daily: Adani and ISKCON jointly serve Mahaprasad to over one lakh devotees every day.
• 10 lakh public washrooms: Available to ensure sanitation for all.
• 1 crore Aarti Sangrah distributed: By Adani and Gita Press to devotees attending the Mela.

Gautam Adani, along with his wife Priti Adani, visited the Sangam Ghat to offer prayers and partake in the spiritual rituals of the Mahakumbh. The couple also visited the ISKCON temple camp, where they personally prepared and distributed Mahaprasad to devotees, emphasizing their commitment to serving society.

Reflecting on his visit, Adani shared on X: “Incredible, unique, and divine! Coming to Prayagraj felt like all the faith, spirit of service, and cultures of the world had merged in the lap of Mother Ganga. I sincerely thank the saints, sadhus, kalpvasis, and devotees who keep the grandeur and divinity of the Kumbh alive, as well as the administration, cleaning staff, and security forces who are always ready to serve.”

Speaking to the media, Adani called his experience at the Mahakumbh extraordinary. “The divinity and grandeur of the Maha Kumbh cannot be put into words. For me, nothing is more important than the blessings of Mother Ganga,” he said, expressing his awe at the spiritual and cultural significance of the event.

Adani’s presence at the Mahakumbh highlighted not just his personal devotion but also his commitment to preserving and promoting India’s rich spiritual and cultural heritage. His efforts to serve the devotees of the Kumbh stand as a testament to his values of humility, service, and faith.
