National accounts : Fixed Capital Formation Up 11.9 Per Cent
Gross fixed capital formation grew 11.9 per cent in real terms in April–June 2026, against 5.8 per cent a year earlier — the only expenditure component in double digits. Sectors : Financial And IT Services Lead
The tertiary sector grew 10.0 per cent at constant prices, led by financial, real estate, IT and professional services at 12.1 per cent. Manufacturing grew 9.2 per cent, construction 7.7 per cent. Capital flows : A Trillion-Dollar Pool Comes To Delhi
Sovereign wealth funds, pension funds and family offices attending the inaugural iBRICS Summit on 12 and 13 September manage a stated total of one trillion US dollars. Reserves and defence : Record Reserves; Three Engines For HAL
Foreign exchange reserves rose 11.4 billion US dollars in the week ended 28 August to a record 740.8 billion, on Reserve Bank data; foreign currency assets supplied 9.3 billion of that, or 81.58 per cent, computed here. Separately, GE Aerospace has delivered a further three F404-IN20 engines to Hindustan Aeronautics for the Tejas Mk1A programme, under the 2021 contract between the two.
