The report, based on a survey of over 6,000 respondents aged 21-65 across 18 countries, shows that 96% of Indian professionals are already using AI and generative AI tools in their work. Machine learning is emerging as a major area of focus in India, with professionals twice as likely as their global peers to prioritize it. The report highlights the top five most in-demand skills, which include AI development and application, emerging technologies, effective communication, machine learning, and strategic leadership.

The report also identifies four key trends defining India’s AI-driven growth: a higher rate of AI adoption compared to other countries, prioritization of AI/Gen AI skills, AI’s transformative impact on workplace efficiency, and proactive strategies to address potential job displacement concerns.
