MUMBAI: Indigo Airlines Managing Director Rahul Bhatia had a meeting with Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at his official residence in Mumbai to discuss various aspects of aviation and its growth in the country. Special Director RK Singh & Advisor Public Policy, Industry Affairs & Corporate Manish Awasthi were also present at the meeting.
The discussions at the meeting also covered expansion and new air connectivity in Maharashtra. According to a press release, the Chief Minister ensured his Government’s full support in this regard. He also reiterated that aviation was one of the important ingredient of economic growth to fulfill Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of making India a $5-trillion economy.
